Commentary & Performance

ROI Private Placements are secured loans to private, later-stage companies in various mature industries. Companies pay back principal and interest providing reliable returns to investors. By investing in private companies, and ensuring all loans have security, there is less volatility than in the public markets. The Fund invests primarily in first secured loans with favourable loan-to-value ratios, further increasing the security of the Fund.

How Private Placements Reduce Risk

Less Correlated to Public Markets – Unlike public markets, ROI Private Placements do not fluctuate on a daily basis. All ROI private placement loans have security and are held to maturity, mitigating the volatility of the public markets.

Due Diligence – ROI's Investment Team conducts rigorous and systematic due diligence procedures on all potential lending opportunities and investigates each company's ability to repay interest and principal. After funding, ROI monitors all loans monthly to ensure all covenants are met.

Clean Exit Strategy – Companies pay back principal and interest on a fixed payment schedule. This ensures ROI knows exactly when a loan will be paid off.
